[ Dear Grunt Magazine, I never thought it would happen to me but... Gaige appears...less made up. Her hair is a wild mess and appears to be smoking from the tips, she's got some grease on her cheek and a screwdriver sticking out from behind her ear. She grins wildly when she sees Lust because...well who wouldn't? ]

They are. In fact, our big Halloween show is coming up soon.

I was wondering if you'd like to be involved? We've lost a few actors and all of our technical help. I'd hate to go back to doing the entire production in my bedroom, it gets more crowded and loud than I'd prefer.

SURE! I'd love to help! I've been echocasting for years so I know my way around AV equipment...even if the stuff this world has to offer is a little more primitive then what I'm used to dealing with.

I'm based in Goldenrod, I have a home here and a recording booth. I can work some of the equipment, but I know I'm not utilizing it properly.

Awesome! I'll come over as soon as I can so we can go over your gear and see what we have. We have enough time I can help figure out what we might need to make things even better. I've cobbled together stuff from spare parts before so we can probably get it cheap if we need too.

Thank you, I appreciate that. Timothy and I do the writing, my family and friends provide the voices, but none of us are familiar with recording equipment or all the things that can be done to a recording to make it sound better.

When I started, I just recorded everything on my 'gear and edited it together with some free program.

Money is little object, I have more of it than I know what to do with.

Does he mind if I ask him about Elpis? And all the cool stuff he did with Athena? I mean I'm gonna ask him but I just wanna know it won't freak him out or whatever.

I don't know exactly what happened to him on that moon, but I know it was violent.

To hear Athena tell it? Tons of violence! But that's kind of business as usual for anything near Pandora.

But it sounds like he saved the whole damn moon and probably Pandora until handsome jackass ruined it again. Kinda wish we'd known he was out there before we took down Jack back home. We totally would have had him help us.

[ The video opens on Ash, who's beaming. On his shoulder is Holokai the Pikachu, who looks so mellow he might jsut be a yellow marshmallow. ]

Hey! Like, I know this is out of nowhere but I know you love electric types, so I wanted to introduce ya to two Pokemon of mine. This here's Holokai; he's the most chill Pikachu on the planet. But like, I had another Pikachu. I just evolved her though. Say hellot An Tintreach!

[ He turned the camera and there she is. An Tintreach the Raichu, standing tall and grinning with unmistakable confidence at the camera. She let some sparks fly from her cheeks, with a 'Rai!' ]

You wanna show her what you got, before we go and deck the fucking ghost gym all the way back to the afterlife??

[ Ash said excitedly. An Tintreach gave a rallying cry and whipped her long tail, striking a confident pose before running off and showing off her battling style - upfront, relentless wrestling, using her electricity to briefly stun foes for a suplex or a charged Stone Cold Stunner. Her punches were no joke; she had learned Dynamic Punch and demonstrated it on a very unfortunate tree; it's trunk immediately snapped into a flurry of splinters and the top half fell with a crash. ]

You know...I've put off catching a Pikachu for the longest time because I was like "Bah dude, everyone has a pikachu. Those things are so corporate sell out.

...but those two are fucking amazing!!! I need one of each!!!

Man I never thought of it like that! I knew you'd love An Tintreach though. She actually found me herself, and I've got a third Pikachu who sorta came along with her, but he's so shy he doesn't appear much or. Ever. Holokai here's from a group of Pikachu that go surfing around Fuchsia City once a year during the summer. Moment I can, I'll send you a video of him on the waves.

[ He pet the Pikachu on his shoulder, who gave a slow, drawled chaaaa. It's quite amazing how a mouse can sound exactly like a beach bum, but Holokai is all kinds of special.

And immediately after, An Tintreach the Raichu barrels into Ash's chest to get into the camera's view too; neither of them as used to her new size and Ash nearly falls over as she climbs on him, grinning at Gaige as she does and even winking. She knows she's amazing. ]

[ Gaige watches completely enthralled. Squealing with glee and giving a little jump up and down. This would make for a great reaction video. ]

Ooo you are so cool Antinny! I bet you've got some punch in those pouches huh? How much electricity you got baby?

[ She gave a pout and sparks flew from her cheeks. Ash quickly explained ]

You gotta call her An Tintreach! It means 'The Lightning' in Irish, so she won't have it any other way!

[ She nodded. Call her baby all you want, but she is the Lightning! Still, she hops down and Ash focuses the camera on her. She uses charge and yeah; that is a lot of electricity and static snapping in the air around her. ]

Ahhhh Sorry An Tintreach! It'll just take some practice to get my mouth used to that one!

Well I don't know Code Monkey, so we're even! Just think of it as An- Tin- Treh.

[ An Tintreach rubbed her cheeks, ears standing straight up. She called to Ash, ready to show her power. ]

Okay! Show em what you got!

[ She charged up, sparks flying from her cheeks. She shouted out and electricity went wild as lightning lashed around her, unleashing an almighty Discharge. Ash had to jump back to get away from some wayward sparks ]

[ Gaige squeals with delight watching the pokemon unleash it's power just to entertain her.]

That. Was. AWESOME!!!!

[ An Tintreach struck a pose, winking at Gaige with utter confidence. She knows she's awesome! ]

Dude, I looked up Raichus; they got something like 10,000 volts of electricity in em! She can go toe-to-toe with Pokemon three times her size.

For Christmas Gaige will be getting a little package, inside is a card from Ivy and a lovely little robot necklace.

[Gaige is gonna love it so hard! And she'll run her ass off trying to find the perfect gift to give back, finally giving up and getting Ivy a high tech water bottle that can help filter out toxins and keep track of how much you drink as well as a Big Root for one of her pokemon to use. Or hell maybe she'll find some creative way to use it herself she's the plant genius!]

[There's a Valentine's Day delivery for Gaige; it's a box of one dozen chocolate cupcakes frosted with little round Voltorb faces. There's also a home-made card. It's just a piece of cardstock folded in half and had an illustration of an anatomically correct heart glued to the front. Inside it is a poem written in mostly readable chicken scratch:]

Roses are red
Entrails are bloody

Cue her realizing she didn't get him anything, running around town like a lunatic and finally settling on a box of stress balls shaped like anatomically correct hearts. They say "Johto School of Medicine" So she may have stolen them from somewhere but it's the thought (Or lack thereof) that counts right?]
